MPS vs Saegertown todaY

A battle of the last 2 unbeaten teams from D10. MPS has received a loss, and I'm guessing Saegertown will receive their first today. MPS is a better team. There's no reason to hold any pitchers back in this game, because they're in different classes, so it should be a good match up. I'm going to guess that it'll be low scoring; something along the lines of 5-2 MPS. We'll see though. I haven't been very good at this predictions things. Good thing I don't gamble or I'd be down a lot of money.

I know nothing about MPS but I will take your bet for bragging rights. I do know a bit about the Saegertown players as the current Meadville group has traded punches with them for the last 10 years. They can flat out hit. They have good pitching and they play solid in the field. But perhaps their best attribute is that they are a confident scrappy all out effort bunch who expects to win every game. I think that the motivation to remain undefeated will take them to a win.

I take MPS. Saegertown is good, but so is MPS. MPS has played a much more difficult schedule including AAA teams. I think that gives them the edge in this one. I don't think Saegertown has seen a team like what Prep has to offer.
